About the Celebration

This year’s celebration will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the James Weldon Johnson Auditorium

At various points in the history of Coppin State University Fanny Jackson Coppin Day has been observed. However, in 1976, Fanny Jackson Coppin Day was instituted as an annual event. On this occasion, the faculty, students, staff and administrators convene for the purpose of celebrating Coppin’s rich history. This is the occasion when we acknowledge the namesake and past achievements, the present status and the future of Coppin State University.

For Families & Visitors

Visitor parking is available in the metered lot adjacent to the James Weldon Johnson Auditorium. For questions on parking, please contact the Parking and Transportation Services office at (410) 951-3556 or visit their website.
